Welcome to the Art Supply Library

The Art Supply Library is tiny arts and craft supply closet in the quirky Cherokee Street neighborhood of St Louis.

It’s an outdoor cabinet filled with free art and craft supplies that anyone can take and use. You can also drop off art supplies you don’t want or need so others can use them.

  • Take what you can use
  • make something
  • share your art with others

It’s like a little free library, but for creative supplies. Crayons, yarn, paper, fabric—anything that helps someone make art. No sign-up or cost. Just neighbors supporting creativity.

I started this project because I believe art should be accessible to everyone. It’s funded by donations and a bit of my own pocketbook.

If you’re local, come take a look. If you want to help, you can donate supplies or contribute financially. And if you’re not nearby but love the idea, you’ll find tips here for starting your own.

Art belongs to all of us. Let’s help everyone create.
