Not local to Saint Louis but love the idea? It’s easy to set up your own art supply library in your community.

What You’ll Need
- A weather-resistant outdoor cabinet. I used the IKEA KOLBJÖRN cabinet. It’s metal, lockable if needed, and stands up to the weather.
- A wrap or sign. This helps people understand what it is and how it works.
Signage Files Available
I’m offering a free downloadable zip file with the same vinyl wrap design I used, without the location listed. You can have it printed locally to stick on your cabinet. [Download the Zip File Here]
Simple Steps to Build an Art Supply Library:

- Buy or repurpose a suitable outdoor cabinet.
- Apply signage so people know it’s an Art Supply Library.
- Place it in an accessible, visible spot where people can visit easily.
- Seed it with some usable items from your own stash of art and craft supplies!
Tips
- Let neighbors know about it!
- Encourage local artists or crafters to donate extras!
- Check in occasionally to tidy and restock.
